He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gillingham and Virginia Gillingham of Alexandria, VA.. He is survived by: his brother Bruce; his sister-in-law Debra Gillingham of Wilmington, NC; and his cousins, David Kaiser of Longs, SC and Carol Pflug of Charlottesville, VA..
