She was predeceased by: her husband John Warren Whitt. She is survived by: her children, David Whitt (Dee Jay Whitt), John Whitt (Cindy Cox) and Sheila Gosnell (Katherine Gosnell). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jefferson Funeral Chapel (5755 Castlewellan Dr, Alexandria, VA 22315-5516). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Comfort Cemetery (6600 S Kings Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22306).
