He was predeceased by: his wife Ana Tapia (Garcia); his son George Tapia; and his great grandchild Elijah Allen. He is survived by: his children, Andres Tapia and Patricia J. Gursky; and his grandchildren, Jessica Allen (William), Anthony Kostek, Sophia Tapia, Wolfe Tapia and Sonia Tapia.
