He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Vitullo and Louise Vitullo (Mullen); and his sisters, Maureen Vitullo and Anne Broad (Jim). He is survived by: his adoptive son Jim Skaats of Alexandria; his sisters, Elane Vitullo of Washington, D. C. and Karen White (Gary) of Hamilton, Virginia.; his nephews, Steve White, Bryan White and Josh Broad; and his niece Christina Broad.
