He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Benson; and his son Donald. He is survived by: his children, James, John, Stephen and Cheryl of Texas; and his stepchildren, Robert Ares of Mt. Zion and Lourdes Murphy of Dunn Loring, VA.. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Groveton Baptist Church (6511 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22306-6523). An entombment will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mt. Comfort Cemetery (6600 S Kings Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22306).
