He was predeceased by: his parents, R. O. Hector and Ethel Jacobs; his daughter Tracy Yvette Hector; and his sisters, Olivia Hector (Tennie) and Pansy Hector Lovelace.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his sisters, Easter H. Coffield of Chase City, VA and Annie Jones of Washington, DC; his stepchildren, Michelle Wright and Christopher Wright; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Wilhoit, Keith Wilhoit (Regina), Ruby Randolph and Patricia Watkins (Dennis). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and caring friends.
