The passing of Ida Jean of Alexandria, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 12, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Henshaw and Edna Henshaw; her former husband Joseph Glover; and her siblings, Martha Davis Henshaw McClanahan and Edmund Lee Henshaw, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her pets, Ginger, Nina and Jean; her daughters, Janice Neudorfer (Bill), Jacquelyn Mattingly (Michael) and Jennifer Levendusky (Michael); and her grandchildren, Jessica, Jason, Kara, Emily, David, Nick, Leah and Anna. She is also survived by her five great-grandchildren; and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory (2973 Solomons Island Rd, Edgewater, MD 21037). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (1300 West St, Annapolis, MD 21401).
