She was predeceased by: her parents, Lacy Meadows (Mary) and Helen Graham (Clyde); her husband Monroe G. Varney; her sister MaryJane Sepella; her son C. Randall Varney; and her grandson Christopher Ludka.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah L. Ellis, Tanya H. Balleaux (Michael), Rhonda K. Sasser (Perry), Brenda J. Montgomery (Terry) and Ricky M. Varney; her grandchildren, Nicole, Steven, Krystal, Jaimee, Jennifer, Joshua, Perry Monroe, Erica, Justin, Kaylynn and Todd; her great grandchildren, Paige, Madisyn, Skyler, Megan, Michael, Lindsey, Shawn, Rileigh, Chase, Jett, Ellee, Liliana and Addison; and her great great grandchild Noah.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
