We are sad to announce that on November 2, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Helen Wieler in Alexandria, Virginia, born in Northampton, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignace Lesko and Anelia Lesko; her husband Walter H. Wieler; and her brother Edgar Lesko. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Woodson of Springfield, VA, Barbara Dooley (Michael) of Fairfax Station, VA and Jeffrey Wieler of Baltimore, MD; and her great grandchildren, Christine (James), Jack, Tommy, Charlie Whitaker, Stacey (Ryan), Jaxon, Connor Veazey, Sierra and Serenity Dooley. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a contribution be made to the American Cancer Society of Greenville, 113 Mills Ave, Greenville, SC 29605; or to Capital Caring Health, 3180 Fairview Park Drive, Falls Church, VA 22042.

“Helen and Walt were such dear neighbors of ours in Greenville SC for many years. Both were so kind, helpful, so full of life, fun to visit with and like our late life grandparents. We miss them both and cherish the good memories that we still enjoy.
