She is survived by: her husband Michael Phillip Mekenie; her sisters, Dorothy Caspersen, Mary Frenette and Louise Hickey (Dana); her daughters, Margaret Mekenie, Elizabeth Heard (Derrick), Helen Hine (Scott) and Caroline Smith (Craige); and her grandchildren, Kayla, Audrey, Taylor, Cierra, Emma, Jillian, Craige and Lindsey.
