It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Gring Coffin of Alexandria, Virginia, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 29, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Daniel and Gertrude Sheffield Gring; her husband David Page Coffin, Sr.; her son David P. Coffin, Jr.; and her siblings, Morris, Edwin, Trudie and Robert.
She is survived by: her children, Kit Coffin Dukas (Philip), R. Winthrop Coffin (Phillip) of Warrenton, Ann Lauterbach (Michael) of Orlean and Sarah McCormack (Mark) of Warrenton, Virginia; her daughter-in-law Ellen Coffin of Brookings, Oregon; and her grandchildren, Alexandra (Bill), Briana (Robin), Christopher (Amy), Caitlin, Lillian Rebecca, Christina (Luke), Jordon, Lauren Elizabeth, Haley Katherine, Win and Sophie. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
