With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Engelken (Alexandria, Virginia), born in West Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 17, 2019 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Engelken; her brother John Downs; and her parents, William Downs and Mary Downs. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Engelken Stevens (Ben), Jane Delia Engelken and Richard Conrad Engelken II (Lori). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, nieces and nephews and countless friends.
