She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Deyerle Coleman and Elmer Norris Deyerle; her grandparents, Lillie Jeffries and Howard Jeffries; and her half-brother Norris Deyerle.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dickie" Combs; her daughters, Tamorah K. Combs and Kimberley Lee Schmidt (Scott); her grandchildren, Bradley Alan Schmidt (Emma), Michael Lee Schmidt (Danielle) and Kaylee Marie Schmidt (Thomas); her half-brother Jeff Coleman (Carol); her sister Margaret "Peggy" Deyerle Parr; her niece Stacey D. Rodgers (Mike); her nephews, David Parr (Lydia), Donald Parr (Sue), Jeb Coleman (Caehlin) and Eric Coleman (Leslie); and her cousin Sue Jennings Weller (Bob).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sherwood Memorial Park (1250 E Main St, Salem, VA 24153).
