With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Angela Petito of Alexandria, Virginia, born in Trenton, New Jersey, who passed away on January 5, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Abbott and John Abbott; and her grandson Gabriel Farrow. She is survived by: her husband Ferdinand Charles Petito (Fred); her children, Ferdinand J. Petito (Melissa) of Newtown, Angela Keaney (Sean) of Clarksburg, Katherine Peverall (Phong) of Lorton and Mary Leon (John) of Woodbridge, Virginia; her grandchildren, Jamie Brown (Petito), Erika Jerminski (Petito), Kermit Farrow, Mineman 3rd, Class Brandon Farrow, U. S. Navy, Thomas Farrow, Ferdinand R. Petito, Gabriella Farrow, Violet Peverall, Joshua Leon, Dexter Peverall and Lily Elaine Leon; her great grandchild Brynley Brown; and her sister Monica Brandbergh.

Donations can be made in her memory to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
