With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Debby Lynn Smith of Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on September 8, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Donald Smith; her parents, William Sheasley and Doris Sheasley; and her siblings, Audrey Sheasley Shoop (William) and Terry.

She is survived by: her brothers, Larry Sheasley (Judy) and Gary Sheasley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.

“We were so saddened to hear of Debby's passing. We met Debby in 1998 during our time stationed in the N Virginia Area with the USAF. Over the years, we grew to love Debby like a member of our family. She doted on our daughter, her "Sugar Plum" & our son, and came to visit us several times once we moved to North Carolina. As the children grew older & lives became busier, our visits with one another became less often. We will always cherish our times with Ms Debby! The Ford Family”
