He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Sersain; and his pets, Kobe and Sakai. He is survived by: his husband David Sersain; his sister Sheri Owens (Keith); his son Sean Patrick Owens; his father James Sersain; his parents-in-law, Mike and Ina Walker; his sisters-in-law, Phyllis (Mark) and Julia Walker; and his pet Beatrix Kiddo Walker-Sersain. He is also survived by his loving husband, countless dear friends and family.

David also enjoyed bocce and played in a league pre-covid.

He donated his time and energies to many worthwhile causes.
