He was predeceased by: his wife Nelda Yancey (Wood); his parents, Thomas and Grace; his sister Sheila Hunter; his niece Wanda Kesler; and his nephew John Steele.
He is survived by: his daughter Nadine; his son-in-law Peter Grinnell; his grandson Merlin Jason Yancey; his sisters-in-law, Jane Kesler (Stan) and Margie Steele (Cary); and his nephews, Alan, Tom (Judy) and Sean Delach (Bobbie).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks to consider making donations to one (or each) of the following: The American Heart Association, The American Stroke Association, Conquer Chiari (i.e., C&S Patient Education Foundation).
