It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Francis McDonald of Alexandria, Virginia, who passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Thomas and Dorothy Wylie. He is survived by: his wife Amy Gold; his sons, James, Alistair and Justin; his grandson Colton; his brother Damian (Nanci); and his stepmother Janice. He is also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law; his mothers- and father-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Donations may be made in his memory to the Abramson Cancer Center.
