He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldolphus Chastine and Linda Lee Chastine (Campbell); his grandparents, Mildred Rosalee Jones, Ethel Mitchell, Thomas Jones and Herman Chastine; and his aunts, Ann E. Jones and Kathleen Young.
He is survived by: his wife Robin Harper; his siblings, Terrance Chastine and Rose Maria Chastine; his stepson Brock Harper; his nieces, Linda "Muffin" and Tashomi; his nephew Giovanni; his uncle Michael J. Jones-Carol; his aunt Juanita Barber; his stepgranddaughter Cathy Grimes-Miller; and his close friend Lisa Adams. He is also survived by cousins, other close relatives.
