He is survived by: his wife Freda Loraine Robertson; his daughters, Sherry (Christopher Minear) of Alexandria, VA, Lora (James Adams) of Midland, VA and Michele (Richard Schuck) of Alexandria, VA; and his grandchildren, Richard, Jr., Tiffany, Graceann, Elizabeth and Caitlin.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Willowton Christian Church (1763 Willowton Road, Princeton, WV 24739) or St. John's United Methodist Church (5312 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151).
