We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2021, at the age of 68, Brenda Beverly of Alexandria, Virginia, born in Stuart, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Tatum and Dora Tatum (Reynolds); and her sister Virginia Mae Bolton (Tatum). She is survived by: her husband Arthur Beverly; her children, Kimberly Clark and T. Raphael Clark (Shayla); her siblings, Deborah Johnson (Raymond), Beverly Laverne Tatum and Calvin Tatum (Doris); her children-in-law, Morven Beverly (Dawn) and Kundia Wood (Simon); her grandchildren, Jazmin Clark (Vee), Ian and Aliayh Clark; and her niece Tiffany Foddrell.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Piney Grove Baptist Church Food Bank in Brenda's name.

“Art, Debbie, Laverne & family....Brenda was an amazing human being to all that met her. In the library community she was known as everyone's "Personal Librarian!" She loved working with the public and was so involved with her library customer's interests which shined through each day. Brenda loved the children of Creeds Elementary School and Bullfrogs and Butterflies Learning Center when it came time to Reading Month and her monthly visits to share her favorite story time books. She is missed. PB staffed love and miss you!”
