She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Johnny Henry and Lillie Mae Henry (Lewis); her friends, Mary Bates, Reacer Baah, Davenport, Byrd, Marsha Cecil, Deaconess Myra Moore, Betty and Virginia; her former husband Ervin Brown; her great grandchild Eden Janeal Coles; and also, Johnnie and Velvet Abrams. She was also cherished by her three siblings and three children, she is survived by fifteen grandchildren, twelve great- grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was an active member of Harvest Assembly Baptist Church until the circumstances of COVID-19.
