She was predeceased by: her siblings, Willie Clyde DeWalt (Sydney), Laura Mae Perry (Willie), Hilda Chavers (Alvin Sr.), Dr. Aureatha Flowers (Ealie), Israel Willis and Dr. Isaac Willis (Aline); her siblings-in-law, Dr. Edgar Parker Sr. and Rosalind Parker; her niece Andrea Chiver; and her nephews, Alvin Chavers Jr., Kenneth Chavers and Everett Perry Sr..

She is survived by: her husband Pearson Parker Sr.; her children, Pearson Parker Jr. (Darnella), Dr. Bernard Parker (Cynthia) and Dr. Susie Goolsby (Jack); her grandchildren, Langley, Crystal, Renée Parker, Joelle and Parker Goolsby; and her siblings-in-law, Mona Parker, Emily Reed and Dr. Gregg Parker (Merita). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (7836 Fordson Rd, Alexandria, VA 22306).
