She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Cyrus and Hazel Viola Giles Cyrus; her siblings, Mattie Oree Leacraft, John W. Cyrus (Junior), Lois Sherrill, Robert Cyrus, Samuel Cyrus Sr., Shirley Outlaw and Roger Cyrus; her husband Clarence Thurston Sr.; and her niece Audrey.
She is survived by: her children, Clarence (Peggy) and Linda; and her sister-in-law Regina H. Thurston. She is also survived by daughter-in-law, and a host of family and friends.
