We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2024, at the age of 78, Arthur James Choates (Alexandria, Virginia), born in Macon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Clara; his parents, Exie Choates and Arthur B. Choates; and his brother Tony Choates. He is survived by: his daughters, Karon Choates Hurey and Kim McMillian; his grandchildren, Shanquita, Domonique, Andre, Anthony, Keith, Keisha, Kiana, Kaia, Justin and Zach; and his siblings, Larry, Stanley, Gil, Kirk, Fay and Ronnie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Cunningham Turch Funeral Home (811 Cameron St, Alexandria, VA 22314).
