She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Mireille P. Grillet; her son Bryce A. Grillet; her father Pierre A. Grillet; her sister Anne M. Grillet; her niece Julia R. “I just found out today that a bright light of my high school years was sadly extinguished. Few possessed the smarts, courage and uniqueness which I remember Alyce had in abundance. During those years, she did not lament if her actions weren't all validated by her peers. She got accepted as an early decision candidate to an ivy league university. She took calculus with Lawson and was a skilled painter after years of studio art with Calas. My sincerest condolences to Prof. Grillet & family.”
