He is survived by: his close friend Karen Kaufman; his children, Jodi Pluznik (Meir), Brian Barke (Julie) and Steven Barke; his sister Ilene Rochester (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Ari Pluznik, Ilan Pluznik, Tal Pluznik, Joey Barke and Gabrielle Barke.
