He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herman Tanner, Sr. and Mary Carroll Tanner; and his brother William H. "Rooster" Tanner, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Delores E. Tanner of Alberta; his daughter Tiffany T. Wilson (Jonathan) of Chesterfield; his grandson Wake Maverick Wilson; his siblings, Mary T. Watson (James Howard Watson, Jr.) of Lady Lake, Florida and Bobby W. Tanner (Sherry B. Tanner) of South Hill; and his sister-in-law Wanda H. Tanner of South Hill. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-great-nephews and great-great niece.
