She was predeceased by: her parents, John Benjamin Clarke and Nita Elmore Clarke of Alberta; and her siblings, Kenneth Elmore Clarke, Virginia C. Vaughan, Bertie C. Fleshood, Nita Lane Fleshood and Elsie C. Turner.
She is survived by: her husband Hodges M. Hastings, Jr.; her daughters, Sandra H. Pasternak (Jack) of Richmond and Donna H. Dietz (August "Andy") of Ashland; her grandchildren, Dr. Ryan H. Pasternak (Mersia) of New Orleans, Benjamin T. Pasternak (Kelly) of Goochland, Angela P. Mercer (James) of Midlothian, Dr. Ashley D. Eisenback (Brian) of Johnson City and Tenn; and her great grandchildren, Lorrin, McKenzie, Isabelle Mercer, Zachary, Evan Pasternak, Hayden Pasternak, Madeline and Emma Eisenback.
