It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Rice Martin of Alberta, Virginia, who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pascal Rice and Annie Rice of Ashville. She is survived by: her husband Joseph E. Martin; her children, Ann Mayton, Mary Louise Rice, Joseph Martin (Dale), Barbara Harrell (Larry), Bonnie Clements (Donnie), Beverly Orr (Dale) and Catherine Bowen (Truman); and her sister Ruby Bryant of Tennessee. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
