We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2025, at the age of 83, Benjamin Douglas Winn of Alberta, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Saunders Winn and Lelia Jackson Haizlip Winn. He is survived by: his wife Betty Acree Winn; his daughters, Susan Winn Shomo, Rhonda Winn Hohman (Paul) and Sherry Winn Beale (Heath); his grandchildren, Lelia Ann Hohman, Susan Elizabeth Hohman and Charlie Alexander Beale; his stepgrandchildren, Tristan Beale, Jordan Beale, Landan Beale and Logan Harrup; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ares Beale and Kairo Merritt; and his sister Betty Winn Watson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel United Methodist Church (45 Church St, Alberta, VA 23821). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
