With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Yancey Lewis of Alberta, Virginia, who passed away on May 26, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry H. Yancey and Hazel Yancey; her husband Murphy Glenn Lewis; and her sisters, Edith Barnes, Helen Wilson and Evelyn Dail.
She is survived by: her children, Gay L. Splain, Steven Glenn Lewis (Angela), Jan L. Stamper (Randy) and Vicki L. Morris (Keith); her grandchildren, Stephanie Splain, Lesley Hammerly, Mathew Lewis (Brittany), Nicholas Lewis (Victoria), Heath Stamper (Crystal), Heather Edmonds (Scott), Brian Morris, Erika Morris and Tori Morris; and her great grandchild Alexis Yoders. She is also survived by (caregiver), and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
