He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Robert and Fannie Frances Wyant (Sipe); and his siblings, Jesse L. Wyant, Paul Wyant, Nelson Wyant, Jim Boyne, Elsie Moore and Mary Helen Wyant.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Wyant (Martha) of Waynesboro, Debbie Wyant of Fishersville and Jamie Wyant (Ollie) of Waynesboro; his grandson Joey Wyant (Cassie); and his siblings, Dalmas "Moat" Wyant (Viola) of Afton, Doug Wyant (Joyce) of Fluvanna and Ray Wyant (Frances) of Crozet. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
