With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grafton Glenn Fields Sr. of Afton, Virginia, born in Nelson, Virginia, who passed away on December 10, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fields and Blanche E. Fields (Grant); his daughter Stephanie R. Taylor; and his siblings, Carroll Campbell and Ollie Hughes.
He is survived by: his spouse Lou Ann Fields of Afton; his sister Patsy Ferrier (Bill); his children, Glenn Fields, Jr. (Linda), Kathy Hughes (Calvin) and Cindy Thompson (J. L.); and his grandchildren, Keith Almarode, Cindy Sheets, Chrissy Bruce, Kevin Almarode, Jennifer Rowe, Michele Hughes, Natalie Faulk, John Glenn Thompson, Phillip Thompson and Meredith Daniel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Beech Grove Church Cemetery Fund, 1207 Beech Grove Road, Roseland, Virginia 22967.
