She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edward and Lillie Mae; her husband George Eslee "Jam" White; her children, George Henry, Leon Gregory, Lillie Mae and Roberta; and her brother Leonard Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa, Beverly Downing of Parksley, VA, Wanda Watson (Richard) of Jacksonville, NC and Quentin White (Catherine) of Pittsville, MD; her sister Lenora Johnson of Snow Hill, MD; her sister-in-law Loretta White of Onancock, VA; and her close friend Maggie Bagwell. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; six great, great-grandchildren; a niece.
