She was predeceased by: her husband William Hillary Parker; her parents, William H. Sample and Daisy Harmon; her daughter Shirley P. Oates; her son-in-law Warren Oates; her son Wayne Allen Parker; her grandson Marcus Johnson; and her sister Louise Sample.
She is survived by: her children, William Parker, Jean Parker, Barry Parker (Shirley), Karen Gilliam and Brenda Collins (Tyrone); her daughter-in-law Sylvia Jordan; her sisters, Celestine (Robert), Deloris (Ray) and Patricia; her granddaughter Tywanda Bibbins; and her cousins, Frances Holden, Sherwood Toppin, Brenda Graves, Tabatha Bailey and Linda Ames. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 5 great, great-grandchildren.
