He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnny Ayres, Sr. and Ruth Ayres; his wife Rosetta Tull; his children, Shermita Ayres, Tywan Fooks of Seaford, DE, Richard Ayres, Jr. of Salisbury, MD, George Handy of Pocomoke, MD, Payton Ewell (Angela) of Salisbury, MD and Clinton Tucker (Felicia) of Atlanta, GA; and his siblings, Johnny Ayres, Jr. of Snow Hill, MD, Raymond Ayres of Snow Hill, MD, Donald Ayres of Fruitland, MD, Alford Ayres of Wilmington, DE and Mildred Ayres of Wilmington, DE.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jerleane's Funeral Service (24497 Mary N Smith Rd, Accomac, VA 23301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the New Beginnings U. M. Church (32347 Chincoteague Rd, Wattsville, VA 23303).
