William N. Winters Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William N. Winters of Abingdon, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As William N. departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though William N. may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William N. leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Omar Winters and Pearl Winters; his wife Lois Winters; his daughter Patricia Winters Campbell; his son-in-law Mike Campbell; and his brother Howard Winters.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jane Walls (Dean), Trula Mae Mahala (Roy) and Omar Winters, Jr.; his sister-in-law Jane Winters; and his pet Lucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Et Garrett Funeral Home (203 N Shady Ave, Damascus, VA 24236). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Et Riverview Chapel at Garrett Funeral Home (203 N Shady Ave, Damascus, VA 24236).
