He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Austin Preston; his children, Elizabeth Carrington Motley and Paige Allison Motley Kelly (Gregory); his granddaughters, Kaitlin Elizabeth Kelly and Rebecca Anne Kelly; his niece Elizabeth Glore; and his cousins, Betty Ann Walsh (Richard) and Daniel Baptist (Carolyn).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas Episcopal Church or the Haven of Rest Rescue Mission in Bristol.
