He is survived by: his parents, Harley "Cotton" Roop and Doris; his wife Tonia Roop; his sons, Johnny Roop and Brian Roop (Anne); his stepdaughter Aleah McFarlane (Alan); and his stepgrandson Zephyr McFarlane. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Farris Funeral Service – Main Street Chapel (427 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Walnut Grove Presbyterian Church (3012 Lee Hwy, Bristol, VA 24202).
