He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Joseph Charles and Elsie Demase; his grandparents, Lorenzo and Lucille Demase; his brother Lawrence Alfred Demase; and his aunt Sarah Battaglia Tokash.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Lynn Demase; his children, Stevan Jr. (Valerie) and Rachel Elizabeth Demase; his brother Joseph Charles Demase, Jr.; his sister-in-law Patricia Demase; his nephews, Michael Demase and John Joseph Demase (Kindra); his niece Morgan Kate Demase Copeland; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaleb, Devin, Darrion and Trinity; and his cousins, Lucy Stimmell, Gina Miller, Carol Viktorian and David Battaglia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Abingdon United Methodist Church (101 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Abingdon United Methodist Church.
