With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roy Shortt (Abingdon, Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Shortt and Emma Shortt; his wife Laura Shortt; and his sisters, Francis, Maxine and Christine.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Shortt and Patricia Reichenbach; his grandchildren, Zackary, Nathan, Christian, Alaina and Mya; his great grandchild Oakley Jax; and his brother Henry Shortt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
