She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Fields and Lucy Kennedy Fields; her husband George "Buddy" Leedy; her son David Leedy; her sisters, Kathleen Childress and Trula Fields; her brother-in-law Elmer Childress; and her nephew David Childress.

She is survived by: her son Chris Leedy; her sister Tiny Fields Baumgardner (Ben); and her niece Linda Rogers.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens (19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210).

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
