He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Matney and Maggie Matney; and his brother Ted Matney. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Lester Matney; his children, Misty Echols (Matt) and Jason Matney; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Echols Foote, Scout Echols and Ryker Matney; his great grandchild Joel Matthew Foote; and his siblings, Donald Matney (Rita) and Linda Smith (Randall). He is also survived by his family and friends.
