He was predeceased by: his brother Jack Foil of Mobile. He is survived by: his wife Sue Bevelyn Jones; his children, Richard E. Foil, Jr. (MaryBeth) and Mary Foil Russell (Ken); his grandchildren, John Morgan Russell, Elizabeth Foil Russell, Sarah Elizabeth Foil, Richard Erby Foil, III and David Edward Foil; and his brother John Ard Foil of Louisville, Kentucky.. He is also survived by four greatgrandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Abingdon Baptist Church (361 W Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens (19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210).
