She was predeceased by: her parents, James Huey Kennedy and Hattie Tignor Kennedy; her husband Sonny Lee Hickman; her great grandchild Henry Robinson; and her siblings, Herman Kennedy and Delphine Morrison.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Hickman (Teresa) of Abingdon, VA, Tammy Jo Calhoun (Jerry) of Abingdon, VA and Donna Kay Goff (Kevin) of Saltville, VA; her grandchildren, Amber Robinson (Jeff), Samuel Hickman, Caleb Norris (Audrey) and Joshua Norris; her great grandchildren, Trenton and Carson Norris; and her sister-in-law Deloris Eileen Childress. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
