We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2025, Mary Janiece Hughes (Abingdon, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Katherine Repass McCall and Roy Franklin McCall, Sr.; her husband Tony Lynn Hughes; and her brothers, Roy Franklin McCall, Jr. (Peggy) and James Edgar "Jim" McCall (Helen).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lynne Lowe (Steve) of Abingdon and James Franklin "Jamey" Hughes of Rural Retreat, Virginia; her grandsons, Adam Harrison Lowe and Andrew Hughes Lowe (Hannah); and her great grandchildren, Waylynn Lowe of Abingdon, Virginia and Lawson Lowe of Abingdon, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Frost Funeral Home (250 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Knollkreg Memorial Park (556 Walden Rd NE, Abingdon, VA 24210).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
