She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Cole and Margaret Cunningham Cole; her former husband John W. Hobbs; her siblings, Dewey Franklin, Jack C. Cole and Geneva Altizer Millspaw; and her husband Robert M. Elkins.
She is survived by: her children, John R. Hobbs (Kim) and Regina Stamper (Boo); her sisters, Ann Cantrell, Linda Frazier (Gorman) and Barbara Presley; her sister-in-law Beverly Cole; and her close friend Victoria Hall. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
