We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2019, at the age of 84, Lorene Hawthorne Shaw (Abingdon, Virginia), born in Washington, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Billy Hawthorne, Roy Hawthorne, Florence Conley, Mildred Weaver, Betty Henegar and Lucille Preston; and her former husband Paul Shaw.
She is survived by: her daughters, Trina Widener (Curtis) of Abingdon and Regina Buchanan of Abingdon; her sisters, Lois Cuneo of Chester and Ellen Rademacher of Roanoke; her grandchildren, Christopher Shaw (Emily, Jessica Thompson), Greg Widener, Pricilla Cline (Hank, Tamara Reynolds), Daniel, Christina Rosenbaum (Ricky, Kelley Robinette) and David; and her son-in-law Curtis Widener. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
