He was predeceased by: his parents, N. H. Owens Jr. and Shirley Owens; his wife Peggy Owens; and his siblings, Ronnie Owens and Brenda Rogers.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carl Owens, Shirley Trent and Kathy Ealey (Lawrence); his grandchildren, Jonathon Tiller and Alexis Tiller (Tyler Cannon); and his friends, Major Pounder, Beckey Freeman and F. L..
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frost Funeral Home Chapel (250 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 10:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens (19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Cancer Center in Abingdon, Virginia.
